As a Tiger Mountain Boy, Johnny Kuhlken plays the snare, the washboard, spoons, bells, whistles, car horns, jugs, beer bottles and other various instruments.  He is also a member of Sara Petite and the Sugar Daddies.  Other bands include the Nards, the Macananys and the Slidewinders.   Has played with or sat in with other band such as Terry Hansen, Julie Mack, Rancho Deluxe, Greg Harris, Sneaky Pete.
